What Is Revival?

Throughout Scripture and church history, revival has been associated with a renewed awareness of God, a deepening hunger for His Word, sincere repentance, and a renewed commitment to obedience. It is a work of God that awakens His people and calls them to return wholeheartedly to Him.

Revival begins in the heart. It moves people beyond spiritual complacency and toward prayer, repentance, holiness, obedience, and a renewed desire to live according to God’s purposes.

Revival Is Not Salvation

Salvation brings a person into new life through Christ. Revival awakens and renews God’s people, calling them back to repentance, obedience, prayer, and wholehearted devotion.
